DescriptionDelaware June 1, 1759 20s PCGS Apparent Very Fine 20.
Very Fine is a very good grade to have for any Ben Franklin note. This one has far better than usual signatures present and a bold Lion vignette on the back. The note has some edge splits and tears but they really are relatively minor and do little to affect the visual impact of this note. The all-important "Printed by B. Franklin and D. Hall" is boldly printed on the back. Benjamin Franklin notes have experienced quite a Renaissance of interest in recent times as we can see by the last example that we sold, a PMG Fine 15 that realized $881.25 in our 2013 Central States sale.
