    Description

Delaware February 28, 1746 10s. This is only the fourth example we have sold from this rare early Benjamin Franklin issue and the first example of this particular denomination. Unfortunately, this is the point at which the praise ceases. To put it gently there is only about 64% of this note remaining as it has become tattered and is backed. This would explain why this note is being offered without grade, estimate or for that matter reserve as your cataloger, who is a student of colonial americana, can hardly stomach looking at this any further.
