Description

Delaware May 31, 1760 20s PMG Fine 12 Net.
This is a very rare two-color B. Franklin and D. Hall type, the last Delaware issue to bear that imprint. In fact, David Hall is one of the three signers on this piece. A truly condition-challenged series, as evidenced by this Fine 12 being Top Pop at PMG. There is only a single PMG Choice Fine 15 thirty shilling note that is finer for any of the four denominations from this issue. Net graded by PMG for restoration. The Newman note was a PCGS Apparent Fine 12 and sold for $1,200. We have handled very few notes for this scarce and underrated type.
