    Delaware May 1, 1777 2s 6d PCGS Gem New 66PPQ.
The lower denominations from this issue come extraordinarily nice with quite a number of 67s and 68s graded by PCGS. This 2s/6d note is a different story entirely. It is tied with one other example at this grade with none graded higher. Although not indicated on the holder, this note was previously sold as part of our September 2009 Midnight Ride Collection. It realized $1840 at that sale, a number that could easily be reached again this evening. An outstanding example of colonial currency.
