Delaware March 1, 1758 20s PCGS Apparent Very Fine 25.
An exceptionally high grade for the issue with great detail particularly of the back where the lion vignette and the B. Franklin imprint are bold and clear. Very few notes from this issue reach the market in better than VG condition. The Apparent grade has been assigned to this attractive VF for "Small Edge Splits" which are present but of little consequence. When 1758 Delaware notes are seen they are almost always from the May Issue. The last example we sold of this issue was an extraordinary PCGS 50 which realized $3290 in 2012.
