    Description

Continental Currency September 26, 1778 Uncut Half Sheet $60-$50-$40-$30/$20-$8-$7-$5 Fr. CC-86 to CC-79 PCGS Apparent Extremely Fine 40.
All Continental Currency sheets and panes are rare. This is a half-sheet, or pane of eight notes, comprising a complete denomination set of the issue. This includes the two newly introduced $50 and $60 denominations at the upper left of the pane. The printing clarity is sharp on both sides. All eight notes are serial numbered and signed by Gaither and Snowden. The pane has seen some handling, but only small splits are cited on the third party label. A very attractive display piece that is worth more than the sum of its parts.
