Double Sheet of September 26, 1778 Signed and Issued Continentals

    Continental Currency September 26, 1778 $5, $7, $8, $20, $30, $40, $50, and $60 Double Sheet of Sixteen PCGS Apparent Very Fine 35.
The first double sheet of September 26, 1778 notes that we have handled since 2003. PCGS has assigned the Apparent grade for "Stains; Edge and Internal Splits." As is often the case, there are some contemporary notations in the wide margin area between the two panes. The sheet had been folded in quarters at one time and consequently the individual notes vary greatly in quality from a high of About Uncirculated to a low of Very Fine. Continentals have been extremely popular of late and this sheet would frame and display quite beautifully.
