Continental Currency November 29, 1775 $8 PCGS Choice New 63.
Incredibly well margined on both sides with strong signatures and sharp print quality. The face margins are what one usually sees when a note has been hand cut from a part sheet with margins uppermost in mind. PMG has graded a total of 4 at this 63 level with none better. PCGS has not yet released a Continental census. We have sold only one piece at this grade level and that was a PCGS 63PPQ that realized $862 in 2010 in a much quieter market for Continentals.
