    Description

Lovely November 29, 1775 $3 Note - The Sole Uncirculated Example Graded by PMG

Continental Currency November 29, 1775 $3 PMG Choice Uncirculated 64 EPQ.
A deeply inked and boldly printed $3 note from the second resolution of Continental currency. They are all similar in style to the May 10, 1775, notes, except that the denomination is engraved under the emblem rather than after the obligation text. This is only example that has received an Uncirculated grade from PMG with the next closest pieces graded 58 EPQ. In our November 2018 auction, we sold a PCGS Very Choice New 64PPQ example for $3,120.
