Continental Currency May 9, 1776 Half Sheet of Eight Gem New. One of each of the denominations from this issue: $1 through $8. Each of the notes is a perfect Gem, something that is very unusual for Continental sheets, as they are invariably torn, handled, folded or dirty. This one would cut into eight perfect Gems, although we would be very sorry to see that happen, as so few beautiful multiples remain in existence. All eight notes are fully numbered and boldly signed. Even the red signature, which is very quick to fade, is strong on all eight. A lovely sheet that will enhance the best of Continental collections.
