Continental Currency May 9, 1776 $2 PCGS Very Choice New 64.
PCGS has graded two higher examples of this note, and PMG has graded one. This lovely 64 is probably the visual equal of any of the higher graded notes. It's broadly margined, bright, and beautifully signed. This is another lovely type note from the May 9, 1776 resolution. Visually, it has all the attributes of a Gem note with strong printing, even and wide margins, and perfect face-to-back registration. The nature print back is just riveting with its fabulous leaf detail.
