    Continental Currency May 20, 1777 $5 PMG About Uncirculated 50. Another note from this great offering of May 20, 1777 Continentals. This $5 is very nicely margined, with the brown signature extremely bold, and the red signature a touch weaker though clearly legible. All denominations from this issue are equally rare, and all are priced in the new Newman at levels that indicate their actual scarcity, which had been all but ignored in prior editions.
