    Description

Continental Currency May 10, 1775 $6 PMG Choice Uncirculated 63 EPQ.
A very difficult note to find Uncirculated, although it is rather common circulated. A near-Gem example from this earliest Continental Issue, we have sold 41 examples and only two Uncirculated pieces: a raw Choice New in 2007 and a PCGS 63 in 2011 that brought just shy of four figures. Both signatures are bold and clear. The lower of the two signatures is that of Samuel Meredith, a member of the Continental Congress.
