Half Sheet of Eight from the Final Issue of Continental Currency

    Continental Currency January 14, 1779 Half Sheet of Eight $1, $2, $3, $4, $5, $20, $70, and $80 PCGS Apparent Extremely Fine 45.
The sheet is composed of CC-87, 88, 89, 90, 91, 92, 101, and 102. PCGS has assigned the Apparent grade for minor stains which affect only the $20 and $80 notes. The sheet folds in such a way that no grade advantage would come from cutting the sheet. It is reasonably bright, well signed, and unusual find to say the least. We have sold several other half sheets with prices widely varied based on their potential to cut Gem notes. This sheet is likely remaining intact, but is a wonderful display item as is.
