    Description

Continental Currency January 14, 1779 $80 PCGS Choice About New 58PPQ.
The signatures are incredibly bright and strong, as are the colors of the inks and paper. The print quality is also outstanding, with the vignette showing every line of the original engraving and the nature print of the strawberry leaf on the back shows even some of the finest lines of the veins in the leaves. The $80 denomination is the highest found for any Continental and is unique for this final issue. This beauty is right at the edge of the Choice New grade and certainly has the look of that grade.
