The Lone 67PPQ $4 January 14, 1779 Continental at Either Service

Continental Currency January 14, 1779 $4 PCGS Superb Gem New 67PPQ.
Both grading services have graded a single 66, but this $4 Continental from the final emission is the one and only piece graded 67 by either service. The note certainly appears to have earned the grade. The colors are wonderful, the signatures are strong as is the serial number and the note is broadly and evenly margined all of the way around on both sides. An absolutely ideal example of a number that is elusive even in the lower Gem grades.
