    Description

Continental Currency February 26, 1777 $30 PCGS Choice New 63PPQ.
This denomination has two emblems on the back, that add to the visual appeal. These notes are known as the Baltimore issue because they were authorized by the Continental Congress when they convened in Baltimore because of the British occupation of Philadelphia. The notes may have been printed partially or completely in Philadelphia, as the Continental Congress was able to resume meeting there on March 4, 1777. Exactly what one would expect for a 63PPQ - strong signatures, perfect paper originality, and sharp print quality.
