    Continental Currency February 17, 1776 $2/3 PCGS Superb Gem New 67PPQ.
    A simply incredible Fractional Continental, which is not only the finest graded for this note, but is the sole 67 for any Fractional Continental at both services combined out of the 717 Fractional Continentals they have graded. Prior to this note's appearance in this landmark Continental set, the highest graded example was a single 66PPQ which we auctioned in January of 2013 for $10,575. The market for great Continentals has only improved in these last two years and no number would be a surprise this evening. Our estimate will very likely prove to be quite conservative.
