Deeply Inked Gem New 65PPQ $1/6 Fugio Note

    Continental Currency February 17, 1776 $1/6 Fr. CC-19. PCGS Gem New 65PPQ.
A Gem note from the top row of the higher serial-numbered pane (second of two). It is visually impressive from the face with deep printing framed by near-ideal margins on all sides. The back printing is shifted just slightly down and to the left. However, the paper originality is exemplary as on all notes from this Fugio offering. Plate C. No. 387042 Signed by B. Brannan in red. This is the only Gem New 65PPQ on the PCGS population report and one of the finest examples known: another exceptional opportunity for the collecting community.

Truth Seeker: The Life of Eric P. Newman (softcover)
A powerful and intimidating dealer of the 1960s, backed by important colleagues, was accused of selling fraudulent gold coins and ingots to unsuspecting numismatists. Who would go up against a man like that and, over the course of decades, prove the fraud? Who would expose a widely respected scholar as a thief, then doggedly pursue recovery of coins that the scholar had stolen from an embarrassed numismatic organization, all over the objections of influential collectors who had bought coins with clouded titles? Eric P. Newman would - and did. Reserve your copy today.
