    Description

Continental Currency February 17, 1776 $1/2 PMG Choice Extremely Fine 45. Franklin's sundial rebus and linked Colonies devices were used for these notes and both are quite clear and distinct on this very appealing example. The designs were later used for the 1776 Continental Currency one dollar coin and the 1787 Fugio copper coin. This example has plate letter C.
