Continental Currency April 11, 1778 $8 PMG About Uncirculated 55 Net.
PMG has graded 16 examples of this $8 Yorktown Continental. The two top notes from PMG's census are both in this sale, this 55 and a single 58. PCGS has not released a Continental census. We have sold a single Uncirculated PCGS example in a 63 holder for $5,175 in August of 2010. PMG has assigned the Net grade for "Ink lightened." We have absolutely no idea what that means, and we see no trace of that or any other problem that could have caused a Net grade.
