Continental Currency April 11, 1778 $8 PCGS Choice About New 58.
Another lovely and rare Yorktown that did not make the grade that the previous three did, but certainly matches them in eye appeal. Even as a 58 it is in the top four known. PCGS has graded a single 63 and two 58's and PMG has no Uncs and a single 58. This piece is beautifully margined with an exceptionally sharp vignette and good signatures. Our most recent sale of a roughly comparable piece was the PMG 55 EPQ, which we auctioned this January for over $1,900.
