DescriptionTreasury of the United States Warrant $7.56 January 1, 1791 Anderson US-UNL.
An interesting piece that is unlisted, but similar to US 205 (except for Treasury of the United States instead of United States Loan Office at top center) in William G. Anderson's, The Price of Liberty. This warrant has the folds of a Very Fine, but it is missing its right edge, also there are several contemporary repairs of varying lengths on the back, and there is ink erosion, too. We also see a small diamond shaped cancellation at bottom center. The "Alex. Hamilton Esq." signature is secretarial. There will be no returns on this lot for any reason.
