    Description

Continental Currency September 26, 1778 $8 Extremely Fine. A nice example of the type, with a particularly boldly printed vignette. The vignette on these $8 Continentals shows a harp with thirteen strings surrounded by the Latin motto MAJORA MINORIBUS CONSONANT, which translates to "The large and the small [Colonies] are in harmony."
