DescriptionContinental Currency September 26, 1778 $50 Counterfeit Counterfeit PCGS Fine 15.
A beautiful example of a counterfeit which is extremely deceptive. This is one of the most difficult Continental Counterfeits to identify, as the counterfeiters altered the plate several times after production began. It has a pyramid composed of thirteen steps with the motto, "Perennis" which translates to "Everlasting," representing the combined strength and unity of the Thirteen Colonies.
