DescriptionContinental Currency November 29, 1775 $5 PCGS About New 50.
The Hand Pricking Thorns is always a popular vignette found on this denomination of Continental. Kuhl and Morris, Jr. have boldly accomplished signatures that remain clearly legible. A lightly circulated note that gives the appearance of a much higher grade at first glance. The last example that we sold was a PCGS AU 53PPQ note for $558.13 way back in our 2014 FUN sale, at a time when this Continental bull market was in its infancy and hadn't yet matured into the broad-based collector market that exists today.
