    Description

Continental Currency November 29, 1775 $4 PMG Choice Uncirculated 63 EPQ.
A total of $3,010,000 of dollar denominated notes between $1 and $8 were authorized, with $10,000 designated to replace worn notes no longer fit for circulation. 83,611 of each denomination were authorized to be issued. The design elements are essentially the same as for the equivalent denomination from the first series. This note is darkly inked and is as nice as the day it was printed. Borders are adequate (although obviously hand cut) and the penned information is bold.
