Continental Currency November 2, 1776 $2 with Attached and Signed Card PMG Good 6 Net. An interesting piece of colonial Americana that is far more desirable for its historical value than for the value of the actual note. The note appears to be of Fine quality with PMG noting a major tear, which can be seen toward the right edge. Attached in the holder is a contemporary card stating "Enclosed is a Continental Bill good for two dollars" and then signed "E. Higley." A couple of the wax seals remain on the card. A truly neat item that should warm the cockles of the heart of any student of colonial history.
