This is an example of the first federally issued paper money. The front has a harp vignette with thirteen strings representing the Original Colonies. The back has a nature print of a henebit and two buttercups printed in a process developed by Benjamin Franklin. John Mease and Joseph Sims, Jr signed the note. The third party grading company has given it an apparent designation due to minor edge fraying.
