    Continental Currency May 10, 1775 $7 PMG Choice About Unc 58 EPQ.
    Part of the initial Continental Congress issue, 49,000 $7s were authorized with the entire emission placed in circulation in August 1775. The design features an emblem of a severe storm at sea with the motto SERENABIT (It will be calm) on the face and a nature print of a buttercup leaf on the back. Well printed with clear margins and very few signs of any meaningful time spent in circulation.
