DescriptionContinental Currency May 10, 1775 $30 PCGS Apparent Choice New 63.
This is the only Continental denomination with a double vignette rather than the nature print on the back. The twin vignettes on the back of the Thirty Dollar denomination were utilized on 5 different issues: May 10, 1775, July 22, 1776, November 2, 1776, February 26, 1777 and May 20, 1777. The note is remarkably sharply printed, with strong signatures and tremendous eye appeal. A hardly noticeable paper pull in the top margin on the back is responsible for the apparent designation for this pretty note.
Estimate: $1,200 - up.
