    Description

Continental Currency May 10, 1775 $30 PCGS About New 50.
The $30 note is the highest denomination from the first Continental issue. This is the only denomination with a double vignette rather than the nature print on the back. The signature of James Read is bold but the one of James Milligan is very faded. The si recte facies vignette that translates "if thou shall do well" appears on these notes.
