DescriptionContinental Currency July 22, 1776 $30 PMG About Uncirculated 55 Net.
"The net grade is for 'Foreign Substance,' which is a bit of paper adhering to the lower corner of the back that is very likely easily removable without a trace. The note has much of the appearance of a choice uncirculated piece. We have auctioned two other AUs recently, one for over $1,400 and the other for $1,057. This piece should fall within that range." This was our description when we offered this same note in our Long Beach Auction. Since that time, we sold the Newman note, in a PCGS EF 45 holder, for $493.50. This note is far superior.
Estimate: $800 - up.
