DescriptionContinental Currency January 14, 1779 $80 PCGS Apparent Extremely Fine 45.
Aside from some minor damage and repairs this is actually a very nice note. This is the highest denomination of Continental Currency printed and it was printed as part of the scarcer first sheet that included most of the lower denomination notes. The last example we sold in this grade was a PCGS Extremely Fine Apparent 45 that brought $172.50 way back in 2010. This will do much better.
