Description

Continental Currency February 26, 1777 $30 PCGS Apparent Extremely Fine 45.
A very pretty example of this scarce yet still underrated $30 note on the Baltimore issue. Easily one of the better denominations in all of Continental currency but a note which from this issue does not seem to get its due when one realizes relative scarcity to other notes. PCGS has wielded the apparent club due to s stained upper right corner area. Otherwise, this note is very well-printed and has retained bold signatures of Coale and Johnson. In November we sold a PCGS Apparent VF 30 for $205.63 and the last Extremely Fine note we sold was two years ago when we sold a PCGS Extremely Fine 45PPQ for $485.28.
