DescriptionContinental Currency April 11, 1778 $7 PCGS Apparent Very Fine 20.
The Apparent grade is for minor stains, and they are indeed minor. The April 11, 1778 Yorktown $7 note has a very limited auction history in our archives. Offerings above the Very Fine grade range are rare (a total of two) with an About New example realizing nearly $1,900 in our August 2010 ANA Signature Auction. This piece is a pleasing VF 20 with full printed details and a strong nature print on the back.
