DescriptionContemporary Counterfeit Continental Currency May 10, 1775 $30 PMG Choice Very Fine 35 Net.
A very scarce contemporary counterfeit of the highest denomination from this first Continental emission. PMG has net graded due to tape and split which is seen on the back along the center fold. Counterfeits from this early issue are quite scarce with the grading services combing for a total of five compared to the almost 500 May 10, 1775 Continentals they have graded in the past decade. Here at Heritage we have only sold one other and that was over a dozen years ago.
