Uncancelled White Paper Connecticut October 11, 1777 7d PCGS About New 50.
A highly desirable note as it is both uncancelled and printed on white paper. The vast majority of these small change notes were printed on the typical blue paper and the white paper notes are far scarcer. Also, most of these issued notes were slash cancelled and are quite scarce in an uncancelled state. The combination of these two factors has a synergistic effect on pricing. The last one that we sold was a PCGS Apparent Very Fine 25 that brought over $150; the present example should fare far better.
