    Cross-cut cancel. Signed by Oliver Wolcott Jr. as Comptroller. His father, Oliver Wolcott Sr., was major general in the Connecticut militia during the Revolutionary War, and was also a signer of the Declaration of Independence. Oliver Wolcott Jr. was the second United States Treasurer and was preceded by Alexander Hamilton and succeeded by Samuel Dexter.
