    John Chester, one of the signers of these two consecutive notes, was a Connecticut militia officer and public official. Chester took part in military operations from the Battle of Bunker Hill to the Battle of Trenton. However, he did not join the Continental Army and left the militia after 1776. The first note has the tiniest left edge split. (Total: 2 notes)
