    Description

Connecticut Treasury Office Unissued, Double-Paned Transfer Certificate 1789 Remainder Anderson CT-27. Choice Crisp Uncirculated.
A wonderful piece of Connecticut history, these certificates certified the transfer of old notes for new notes. A truly exceptional example that is is double-paned, unnumbered, uncut, and unissued. It was signed by Jedediah Huntington, an American general in the Continental Army during the Revolutionary War, as treasurer. We have never before seen or handled an example like this. In terms of grade, we will be conservative and call it Choice About Uncirculated for some minor signs of handling, primarily at the corners.
