    Description

Connecticut Treasury Certificate £8.15s June 1, 1782 Anderson CT-19 PMG Choice Uncirculated 64.
This well preserved example has earned the highest grade for this number that we have auctioned. This example was made out to Ephraim Briggs and signed by Peter Colt. Briggs served in the Connecticut Line of the Continental Army. The third party label mentions annotations and ink. We see minor pencil collector notations on the face and back and the ink appears to be a "cross-out" made by Treasurer Colt.
