    Description

Connecticut October 11, 1777 2d Slash Cancel Printed on White Paper PMG About Uncirculated 50. Leviathan margins are seen on this well signed and wonderfully printed small change note. Plenty of original embossing is noted as well as one main horizontal fold. The note has been canceled and printed on the much scarcer white paper, as opposed to the typical blue paper. Do not be fooled by the recent appearance of several white paper notes. The Midnight Ride Collection was very comprehensive in many ways and the exceptional gentleman who collected these notes was well aware of the fact that white was much better than blue.
