Connecticut May 10, 1775 20s PMG About Uncirculated 53. This is a very nice example of a slightly scarcer Connecticut issue, and most importantly, it has not been cancelled. Very few Connecticut notes of this era survive in uncancelled condition. The red ink signatures of Benj. Payne, Jesse Root, and Wm. Pitkin all remain visible. In January 2009 we sold a PCGS 50 uncancelled example of this design for $402 and we also sold a PCGS 55 uncancelled piece for $1380. PMG mentions a split repair that is minor.
