    Description

Connecticut March 1, 1780 10s Uncancelled PCGS Apparent Extremely Fine 40.
A very well printed example of this later 1780 issue that has received an apparent grade due to the repaired center split. While 95% of notes from these final issues were hole cancelled about another 4% were slash cancelled and likely fewer than 1% of these actually remained uncancelled. Examples in this state, no matter what the state of preservation, are rare no matter how you slice it.
