    Description

Connecticut June 7, 1776 1s PCGS Superb Gem New 67PPQ.
The finest known at both services combined. All of the references point out the fact that this extremely common issue is rare in any grade when uncancelled. Several years ago, we sold the second-finest known, a PCGS 66PPQ for $1,527. There are three at that grade level. We have sold two, the $1,527 just mentioned and the other for $1,495. We are virtually certain that this note will easily surpass the $2,000 mark.
