    Description

Connecticut June 1, 1773 5s Slash Cancel PCGS Apparent Very Fine 30.
It has been over two years since we last sold an example from this tougher early issue and almost four years since we sold a 5 shilling note. It has been slash cancelled. PCGS notes edge splits, missing upper left corner and minor mounting remnants on the back. It has retained great signatures and the printing quality shows superb depth.
