Connecticut June 1, 1773 10s PMG About Uncirculated 53. PMG has commented "Great Embossing", and indeed the embossing can be easily seen through the holder. The note is uncancelled, which is unusual for any 1770's Connecticut issue. More importantly, this is one of the earlier issues that are rarely seen in any grade. PMG has only graded seven notes from this issue, for all five denominations combined, and this AU53 10s note is the highest graded from the entire issue. It lists at $900 in Very Fine in the newly released Newman book, with no higher grade listed.
