    Connecticut July 1, 1775 2s PCGS Apparent Extremely Fine 40. This 2 shillings example is part of £50,000 in Treasury Notes that were dated July 1, 1775 and were due on Dec. 31, 1779. This attractive note was signed by E. Williams, J. Hamlin, and Jesse Root. Redemption registration by comptroller Porter is seen on the back in red ink. PCGS included a comment concerning minor edge tears.
