    Description

Connecticut July 1, 1775 10s PMG Choice Extremely Fine 45.
Well printed and with respectable margins, this extremely important note has nice eye appeal. Newman's The Early Paper Money of America does not price this uncanceled Ten Shilling above the Very Fine ($600) grade. Although PMG mentioned a few very minor edge tears, this note did not receive a net grade, and the tears are unimportant on a note of this significance. Although the signatures have faded, all three signers can be ascertained. They were Jesse Root, Elisha Williams, and Jabez Hamlin.
